The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."
Psalm 14 doesn't just let us ignore that we might be playing the fool ourselves. It presses a mirror into our hands and asks where we might be living as if God does not see, care, or hold us accountable. Because when God is ignored, people get consumed. But here's the hope: God is not absent. He sees. He shelters. God saves.
